Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our remote team at arenaflex. As the first point of contact for our customers, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional service, resolving issues, and exceeding customer expectations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Assist all internal and external customers in a professional manner, providing timely and effective solutions to their inquiries and concerns.
- Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times, even in challenging situations.
- Receive requests from multiple sources (phone, fax, e-Commerce, in-person) and complete necessary processes for equipment services, ensuring seamless communication and coordination with our Dispatch team.
- Engage in active listening with customers, confirming or clarifying information and diffusing angry customers, as needed, to resolve issues and build trust.
- Provide customers with product and service information, answering questions and addressing concerns in a clear and concise manner.
- Maintain current knowledge on Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party payor sources for equipment, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information for our customers.
- Verify medical necessity, insurance coverage, and physician orders for all insurance-assigned services, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Follow policy and work instructions to ensure the Billing Department has the correct paperwork to complete insurance, maintaining accurate and timely records.
- Understand and strive to meet or exceed department metrics while providing excellent customer service, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Make sales or recommendations for products or services that may complement client needs, as applicable, to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:
+ High school diploma or general education degree (GED). + 6 months of relevant customer service experience preferred.
Skills & Abilities:
+ Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. + Customer service orientation. + Attention to detail. + Good data entry skills. + Proficiency with computers, with strong typing skills. + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
