Responsibilities

As a Chat Support Agent, you'll be responsible for:

  • Responding promptly to gig workers' inquiries and providing accurate and helpful information through our chat support system.
  • Addressing and resolving gig workers' concerns, issues, or complaints with empathy and professionalism.
  • Collaborating with other team members to ensure a seamless and efficient chat support experience for gig workers.
  • Staying up-to-date with the features and functionalities of the arenaflex platform and our partner staffing apps.
  • Assisting gig workers in navigating the arenaflex platform and troubleshooting any technical issues they may encounter.
  • Actively promoting the benefits and features of arenaflex to gig workers to encourage engagement and participation.
  • Documenting and escalating complex or unresolved queries to the appropriate departments for further assistance.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Proven experience as a customer support agent or similar role, preferably in the gig economy or staffing industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
  • Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate between multiple chat conversations efficiently.
  • An empathetic and customer-oriented mindset, with a genuine desire to help gig workers succeed.
  • Proficient computer skills, including the ability to navigate software applications and work with chat support tools.
  • The ability to work independently and remotely while maintaining a high level of productivity and focus.
  • Flexibility to work during peak hours, including evenings and weekends, to provide support as needed.

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., communications, business, or customer service) preferred.

  • 1-2 years of experience in customer support or a related field, preferably in the gig economy or staffing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of customer service principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working with chat support tools and software applications.

  • Knowledge of the gig economy and staffing industry, including trends and best practices.
  • Certification in customer service or a related field (e.g., Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR)).
  • Fluency in multiple languages, including English.
