Intern, Data Analytics (Summer 2026) - Actuarial Technology & Retirement
Are you passionate about data analytics? Are you looking for a summer internship that will challenge and develop your skills and potential? Essential Functions The Summer Intern position in the Actuarial Technology team will mine retirement data and create power BI dashboards. Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Extensive data analytics related to pension/401k/annuities large data sets
- Assist with reporting (i.e., dashboard creation and preparation of standard reporting)
- Assist with ad-hoc requests that require data querying and manipulation
- Assist with research and development regarding pensions/401ks/annuities including trend analysis and studies
- Strong analytical and mathematical capabilities with creative problem-solving ability
- Previous experience manipulating large data sets with Excel and PowerBi
- Previous experience with generative AI - Copilot or Claude highly preferred
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products (Excel, Word, & PowerPoint)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a time-sensitive environment
- Minimum two plus years of undergraduate education or undergraduate degree
- Knowledge of coding, actuarial concepts or pensions plans/401k/annuities is a plus
- Previous work experience in a professional service environment is desirable but not mandatory
