In this role, you'll play a vital part in handling inbound calls, troubleshooting basic technical issues, building strong relationships with customers, and identifying opportunities to upsell new products and services.

Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:
- Handling inbound and outbound contacts in a courteous, timely, and professional manner
- Ensuring first call resolution through problem-solving and effective call handling
- Researching systems to find missing information as applicable; coordinating with other departments to resolve issues when needed
- Accurately documenting and processing customer claims in appropriate systems
- Utilizing knowledge base and training to accurately answer customer questions while following all required scripts, policies, and procedures
- Complying with requirements surrounding confidential information and personal information
- Escalating customer issues to the appropriate staff and managerial for resolution as needed
- Attending meetings and training and reviewing all new training material to stay up-to-date on changes to program knowledge, systems, and processes
- Adhering to all attendance and work schedule requirements
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Possess excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills
- Be able to type swiftly and accurately (20+ words a minute)
- Have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
- Have basic understanding of Windows operating system
- Be highly reliable with the ability to maintain regular attendance and punctuality
- Be able to evaluate, troubleshoot, and follow-up on customer issues
- Have an aptitude for conflict resolution, problem-solving, and negotiation
- Be customer service oriented (empathetic, responsive, patient, and conscientious)
- Be able to multi-task, stay focused, and self-manage
- Have strong team orientation and customer focus
- Be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment where change and ambiguity are prevalent
- Have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with your team and customers
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, we prefer candidates with:
- One (1) year of experience in customer service, technical support, inside sales, back-office, chat, or administrative support in a contact center environment
- State or Federal work experience
