Key Responsibilities

As an Experienced Customer Service Associate at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences that exceed our customers' expectations. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Modeling and Delivering a Distinctive Customer Experience: You'll be the face of arenaflex, delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience that sets us apart from the rest. This includes engaging with customers, resolving issues, and answering questions to ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Providing Courteous, Friendly, Fast, and Efficient Service: You'll provide customers with courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service, including recommending items for sale and processing transactions on our cash registers.
  • Maintaining a Clean and Well-Merchandised Store: You'll keep our counters and shelves clean and well-merchandised, take inventory, and maintain records. You'll also check in and price merchandise as required or as directed by our store manager or shift leader.
  • Implementing Asset Protection Procedures: You'll implement company asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss, ensuring compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products.
  • Providing Customer Service in the Photo Area: You'll provide customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print and creative machine, and suggestive selling of promotional photo products.
  • Assuming Web Pick-up Responsibilities: You'll assume web pick-up responsibilities, monitoring orders in Picture Care Plus, filling orders, and delivering orders to customers as they arrive at the store.
  • Assisting with Exterior and Interior Maintenance: You'll assist with exterior and interior maintenance by ensuring a clean, neat, and orderly store condition and appearance.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: You'll be able to engage with customers, resolve issues, and answer questions in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Strong Problem-Solving Skills: You'll be able to think critically and come up with creative solutions to customer issues.
  • Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: You'll be able to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities with ease.
  • Basic Math Skills: You'll be able to accurately handle cash and process transactions on our cash registers.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: You'll have a high school diploma or equivalent, with a strong focus on customer service and retail experience.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, we're looking for candidates with:

  • Retail Experience: You'll have experience working in a retail environment, with a focus on customer service and sales.
  • Customer Service Training: You'll have completed customer service training or have equivalent experience.
  • Basic Computer Skills: You'll have basic computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office and other software applications.
  • Ability to Lift Up to 25 Pounds: You'll be able to lift up to 25 pounds, with the ability to stand for long periods of time.
