Job Summary

As a Lost and Found Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing top-notch customer service to visitors of DFW airport, handling a wide range of duties, and delivering a high-quality standard. You will work closely with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders to resolve issues, answer questions, and provide assistance. Your exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure will make you an invaluable asset to our team.

Key Responsibilities

* Assist customers during business hours by: + Operating and assisting walk-in customers + Answering phones during business hours + Inputting required information into the Lost and Found system + Researching and verifying the validity of all information before release + Collecting lost items from terminals and various other areas of the airport grounds + Photographing and logging items + Receiving, counting, documenting, and securing items in a lockable container such as a safe + Moving goods and materials in and out of secured lockers

• Perform a broad range of duties and deliver a high-quality standard
• Work closely with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders to resolve issues and provide assistance
• Utilize Lost and Found Software to efficiently manage and track lost items
• Maintain a high level of organization, attention to detail, and professionalism at all times
• Work varied hours, including weekends and holidays
• Lift, push, pull, and carry up to 70 lbs.
• Stand and walk for long periods
• Drive and operate a vehicle (if required)

Essential Qualifications

* Valid US work authorization

• Professional demeanor and presentation
• Flexible schedule and availability
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to learn and utilize Lost and Found Software
• Detail-oriented and well-organized
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 70 lbs.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous customer service experience in a fast-paced environment

• Experience working in a Lost and Found or similar role
• Knowledge of Lost and Found Software or similar systems
• Ability to drive and operate a vehicle (if required)
• Background in customer service, hospitality, or a related field
