Key Responsibilities
As a Wholesale Customer & Operations Representative, you'll serve as the first point of contact for our customers, agents, and staff. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing exceptional customer service through calls, emails, chats, and other communication channels
- Resolving complex issues, requests, and service issues related to policies, procedures, and billing/account information
- Assisting agents and staff with carrier information and general processes and procedures
- Preparing and releasing coverage and premium financing quotes
- Processing policy information, including issuance of certificates
- Ensuring accuracy and completeness according to carrier specifications
- Ordering inspections as requested
- Escalating complex issues to subject matter experts
- Developing role-specific standard work processes for the team
- Mentoring team members and providing project support
Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess:
- Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support, or service
- Proficiency using PC software applications, such as Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer, Outlook, Excel, and more
- Solid knowledge and understanding of insurance or brokerage customer service or policy processing processes, terms, and procedures
- Demonstrated experience in customer service for insurance or brokerage products
- Solid knowledge of state-specific regulations and system/procedural support for insurance or brokerage products
- Solid knowledge and application of underwriting processing, servicing, or billing guidelines
- Demonstrated experience using reference materials, reading policy language, and processing rules and procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Licenses & Certifications
* Resident state producer license for property and casualty insurance
- Property and casualty producer license for commercial lines required
- Property and casualty producer licenses for all operating and/or service states must be obtained within 60 days of hire
- Proof of successful completion of the AD Banker On-Line Pre-Licensing Course for employee's resident state prior to 8:00am CT the Wednesday before start date (if unlicensed)
Work Environment & Culture
As a primarily home-based role, you'll spend 80% of your time working from home, proximate to one of our office locations. On occasion, you may be asked to travel to an office location for in-person engagement activities, such as team meetings, trainings, and culture events. Compensation & Benefits
* Hourly compensation range: $25.00 - $31.25
- Pay rate type: Hourly
- Compensation may vary based on job level and geographic work location
