Job Responsibilities
- Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, potential clients, and companies we represent through phone, email, and in-person interactions
- Supporting your teammates with follow-up activities for clients and prospects
- Researching and resolving coverage questions in a timely and accurate manner
- Responding promptly to client needs through phone, email, or other electronic means
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client files and processing routine correspondence between our agency and clients or companies
- Cultivating new opportunities and offering additional lines of insurance through consultative selling
- Assisting with other office duties as needed
Professional and Personal Skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and a calculator
- The ability to type quickly and accurately
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- A patient, respectful, and reliable approach to customer service
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A strong work ethic and a commitment to delivering exceptional service
Wages and Compensation
We offer competitive wages between $12 - $20 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to your base wage, you'll also be eligible for bonuses based on performance and other benefits.
Experience Requirements
Previous experience in commercial insurance customer service is highly desirable, but not required. We're looking for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional service and building strong relationships.
