Key Responsibilities:

- Provide telephone assistance to Aetna Medicaid members and providers, addressing various inquiries related to benefits, eligibility, services, and prior authorization requirements. - Answer calls in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that members and providers receive timely and accurate information. - Utilize strong communication skills to effectively resolve issues and concerns, escalating complex matters to senior team members as needed. - Maintain accurate records of interactions, including call logs and member information, in accordance with arenaflex's policies and procedures. - Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including care coordinators and medical directors, to ensure seamless communication and coordination of services. - Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance knowledge and skills in areas such as Medicaid and Medicare systems, customer service best practices, and cultural competency.

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., healthcare administration, business, or communications) preferred. - At least 1-2 years of experience in a customer service environment, preferably in a call center setting. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse populations, including members, providers, and internal stakeholders. - Proficiency in using computer software applications, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems. - Familiarity with Medicaid and Medicare systems, as well as prior authorization requirements, is beneficial but not required. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining a high level of productivity and accuracy. - Self-sufficient individual with excellent time management and organizational skills, able to work independently with minimal supervision. - Reliable high-speed internet connectivity with secure service via an ethernet cable (Wi-Fi is not permitted). - Availability to work a set schedule from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM EST, Monday through Friday, for the first six weeks of training. - Willingness to commute to the office in Blue Bell, PA, if remote work is not possible due to technical issues.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience working in a healthcare environment, particularly with Medicaid and Medicare populations. - Familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs) and other healthcare software applications. - Certification in customer service, such as Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR) or Certified Customer Service Manager (CCSM). - Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.
