Job Summary
As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences, ensuring that our passengers have a smooth and enjoyable journey. You will be responsible for handling customer inquiries, resolving issues, and providing personalized support to our passengers. Key Responsibilities
* Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner
- Provide personalized support to passengers, including answering questions, resolving issues, and making recommendations
- Process ticketing and luggage check-in, including tagging and lifting passenger's luggage to a bag belt for transport to the ramp
- Proactively greet customers, assess their needs, explain available options, and direct them accordingly
- Positively influence customers' use of airport facilities to ensure a better, faster, and friendlier airport experience
- Keep customers informed while ensuring smooth carrier transportation
- Efficiently coordinate with internal assets while working under stress and time constraints to dispatch flights on time
- Perform a variety of responsibilities in accordance with the practical work location assignment, but agents can be cross-applied and required to carry out all functions
- Subject to rotating shifts and stale days
- May require outdoor work
- Practice safety-aware behaviors in all operational procedures and protocols
What You Need to Succeed
* High School diploma, GED, or High School Equivalency
- Embraces diverse people, cultures, and styles
- Consistently prioritizes safety and security, of self and others
- Demonstrates that privacy is a concern while managing personal data
- Must be fluent in English, both spoken and written conversation
- Employee should have valid work documents to work/live in the United States at the time of applying
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Frequently lift baggage or equipment weighing up to and including 50 pounds
- Occasionally lift baggage or equipment weighing between 50 and 70 pounds
- Possess entry-level computer skills
- Employee should be able to type at least 30 wpm to effectively use the agent's computer system
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, using proper grammar, tone, and pronunciation
- Be willing to work a fixed and/or rotating schedule, including afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays
