Responsibilities and Duties

As an IT Chat Specialist, you'll be responsible for:

• Sharing your passion for our brand with customers and providing them with expert advice and guidance
• Using our brand's products and services to stay up-to-date on the latest features and benefits
• Familiarizing yourself with our brand site and media, as well as competitor products and services
• Comparing and analyzing competitor products to provide customers with informed recommendations
• Demonstrating empathy and understanding when dealing with customers in stressful situations
• Typing at least 35 wpm and communicating clearly in text form to provide exceptional customer support

Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• 5+ years of experience in the IT industry, with a strong understanding of large corporate or hospital IT systems (a plus)
• Familiarity with top operating systems and brand environments
• A passion for helping others with large-scale electronic purchasing needs
• The ability to explain complex concepts at a customer's knowledge level
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote environment

Compensation and Perks

As an independent contractor, you'll enjoy:

Technology Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• A desktop or laptop with Chrome browser (tablets and other mobile devices are not compatible at this time)
• A stable internet connection (we suggest at least a consistent 10mbps)
• Reliable sound output (this can be through built-in computer speakers or third-party speakers or headsets)
