Job Summary
As a Full Stack Data Entry Specialist, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our data entry processes. You'll work closely with our pharmacy team to enter patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and maintain our inventory management systems. Your attention to detail, technical skills, and excellent communication abilities will make you an invaluable asset to our team.
Key Responsibilities
* Utilize pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and maintain inventory management systems
- Assist pharmacists in scheduling and maintaining work flow, including verifying medication accuracy and checking for potential interactions
- Register all related sales on assigned cash register, collect and handle coins as required, and take customers to the OTC aisle to assist in finding merchandise
- Handle telephone calls that don't require the personal attention of the pharmacist, including those to physicians
- Method (correct and resubmit) claims for third-party prescription services in a timely and efficient manner, and perform other clerical responsibilities as assigned by the store manager
- Assist and support the pharmacy team on stock management activities, including ordering, unpacking, checking, and storing shipments of prescription medications
- Maintain knowledge of company asset safety procedures and document claims for warehouse overages, shortages, order mistakes, or broken goods related to Rx capsules
- May assist pharmacists in administering medical services, including the collection and proper labeling of blood/urine samples from patients and other medical services as required
- Assist the pharmacy supervisor and personnel pharmacist in developing and maintaining strong relationships with the local medical community, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers, through clinical provider detailing and outreach to healthcare agencies, retirement homes, nursing homes, and other forums for reinforcing growth opportunities
Essential Qualifications
* Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico)
- Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment
- Prefer previous work experience with arenaflex
- Desire math skills to fill prescriptions accurately, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications
- Desire computer skills
- Desire knowledge of store inventory management
- Prefer % certification

* Experience with pharmacy systems and inventory management software
- Knowledge of pharmacy regulations and laws
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
