Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our team, responsible for designing and implementing data-driven solutions to support the development of new battery technologies. As a Data Engineer, you will work closely with our battery design and development teams to gather and analyze data, identify trends and insights, and develop data visualizations to inform decision-making. Your expertise will be critical in driving the development of new battery technologies and ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and implement data-driven solutions to support the development of new battery technologies
- Gather and analyze data from various sources, including databases, APIs, and external data providers
- Develop data visualizations and dashboards to inform decision-making and drive business outcomes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including battery design and development, to gather requirements and develop data-driven solutions
- Work with database administrators and IT teams to ensure the integrity and security of data pipelines
- Develop and maintain data pipelines, including ETL and ELT processes
- Develop and maintain data visualizations and dashboards using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to develop and implement data-driven models and algorithms
- Develop and maintain documentation of data pipelines, data visualizations, and data-driven solutions
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in data engineering, data science, or related field
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js
- Experience with database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
- Experience with data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as Snowflake, GCP, or AWS
- Strong understanding of data science concepts and techniques, including machine learning and statistical modeling
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
- Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or NoSQL databases
- Experience with data warehousing and business intelligence tools such as Amazon Redshift or Microsoft SQL Server
- Experience with data governance and data quality tools such as Apache NiFi or Informatica PowerCenter
- Experience with DevOps and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
- Strong understanding of cloud-based computing platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure
