Job Summary

As an Experienced Pharmacy Technician – Data Entry & Customer Service (2nd Shift) On-Site Full Time, you will be responsible for performing order entry tasks, collaborating with other team members in the medication dispensing process, and providing exceptional customer service to our patients and healthcare partners. You will work in a closed-door pharmacy environment, where you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities

* Perform order entry tasks, including triaging customer service requests, calculating and verifying correct dosages, and creating and maintaining accurate customer records

• Collaborate with the dispensing pharmacist to ensure accuracy and provide best-in-class customer service
• Assist in reviewing narcotic prescriptions and ensuring timely completion
• Provide dispensing pharmacists with information regarding allergies, drug interactions, therapeutic duplications, and other items flagged by the computer
• Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities with ease
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, healthcare partners, and internal stakeholders

Required Qualifications

* Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law

• One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician
• Prior experience in the long-term care industry (preferred)
• PTCB National Certification
• Verifiable High School Diploma or GED
