Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Associate / Cashier, you'll be responsible for:

  • Greeting customers in a warm and friendly manner, creating a welcoming atmosphere that makes them feel valued and appreciated
  • Processing cash transactions accurately and efficiently, using our point-of-sale system to ensure seamless transactions
  • Providing product information and assisting customers with their inquiries, helping them find the perfect products to meet their needs
  • Maintaining a clean and organized cashier station, ensuring that our customers have a positive experience every time they visit
  • Assisting with inventory management and restocking shelves, helping us to keep our store looking its best
  • Collaborating with team members to achieve sales targets, working together to drive results and exceed expectations
  • Handling customer complaints or concerns with professionalism and empathy, resolving issues quickly and efficiently
  • Following company policies and procedures for cash handling, returns, and exchanges, ensuring that we maintain the highest standards of integrity and accountability

Experience and Qualifications

* Previous experience in cash handling is preferred, but not required – we're happy to train the right candidate

  • Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently, ensuring that our customers receive the best possible service
  • Familiarity with operating a cash register or point-of-sale system, with a willingness to learn and adapt to our systems
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, remaining calm and composed under pressure
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail, with the ability to accurately handle cash transactions and manage inventory
