Key Responsibilities
As an Experienced Customer Service Associate/Cashier, you'll be responsible for:
- Greeting customers with a smile and providing exceptional customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience
- Operating the cash register and handling cash transactions accurately, efficiently, and securely
- Processing customer returns and exchanges in a timely and professional manner
- Maintaining a clean and organized checkout area, including restocking shelves and ensuring products are properly displayed
- Assisting customers with product inquiries and providing recommendations to drive sales growth
- Upselling products and services to maximize sales and meet customer needs
- Answering phone calls and responding to customer inquiries with professionalism and courtesy
- Assisting with inventory management and restocking merchandise to ensure accurate stock levels
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Previous experience in customer service or cashiering, preferably in a retail environment
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English
- Bilingual proficiency in another language is a plus, but not required
