Experienced Customer Service Representative – Remote Opportunity with arenaflex

Job Summary:
We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team at arenaflex. As the face of arenaflex, you will impact members' service experience by handling customer service inquiries and problems via telephone, internet, or written correspondence. You will engage, consult, and educate members based on their unique needs, preferences, and understanding of arenaflex plans, tools, and resources to guide them along a clear path to care. Your primary responsibility will be to answer questions, resolve issues, and provide exceptional customer service to our members, providers, and plan sponsors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle customer service inquiries and problems via telephone, internet, or written correspondence - Engage, consult, and educate members based on their unique needs, preferences, and understanding of arenaflex plans, tools, and resources - Answer questions and resolve issues based on phone calls/letters from members, providers, and other departments - Triages resulting rework to appropriate staff - Document and track contacts with members, providers, and plan sponsors - Guide members through their plan of benefits, arenaflex policy, and procedures, as well as provide knowledge of resources to comply with regulatory guidelines - Create an emotional connection with our members by understanding and engaging the member to the fullest to champion for their best health - Take accountability to fully understand the member's needs by building a trusting and caring relationship with the member - Anticipate customer needs and provide related information to answer unasked questions - Explain member's rights and responsibilities in accordance with contract
Essential Qualifications:
- Must reside within a 50-mile radius of New Albany, OH - Customer Service experience in a transaction-based environment such as a call center or retail location - Ability to be empathetic and compassionate - Experience in a production environment - High School or GED equivalent - Ability to multi-task to accomplish workload efficiently - Understanding of medical terminology - Oral and written communication skills - Ability to maintain accuracy and production standards - Problem-solving skills - Attention to detail and accuracy - Analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software - Knowledge of healthcare industry and regulations - Bilingual or multilingual skills
