As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll collaborate with clients in a considerate, professional, courteous, and expert manner. You'll be the face of arenaflex, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our clients receive the highest level of care and attention.

Key Responsibilities

These are the fundamental elements of the job.   • Issue, reissue, and refund traveler tickets
  • Book, ticket, and confirm flight reservations
  • Rebook travelers on oversold flights and during irregular operations
  • Perform traveler check-in and front seat tasks (excluding curbside), correct oversold seat tasks, and issue upgrades
  • Issue vouchers as well as coordinate with project workers for traveler lodging facilities, meals, and transportation; coordinate refuel and refresh
  • Perform traveler loading, including ticket lift as well as ticket lift/check
  • Work gate reader/scanner and related duties to include pre-boarding, observing/checking carry-on items and departure line models
  • Work jetways/bridges for purposes of boarding and deplaning travelers
  • Make boarding and departure gate announcements
  • Convey domestic/international flight records
  • Perform traveler service flight close-out methods
  • Accept, check, and label travelers' baggage at destination points, full-service ticket counters, and premium ticket counters
  • Maintain schedule of flight loading process
  • Perform customer service hands-on training
  • Process and complete credit card baggage transactions at stands in the ticket counter area and activation stations
  • Assist travelers with self-service kiosk check-in and baggage handling at ticket counters
  • Man the lines at ticket counter stands and ticket counters
  • Clear/confirm international records at booth in the ticket counter area and activation stations
  • Accept and activate travelers' self-labeled bags at activation stations
  • Assist clients requiring special assistance or in-station; assist boarding, deplaning, and shipping non-ambulatory travelers, special assistance travelers, or unaccompanied minors
  • Perform customer service work related to handling regional flights and contractor/ground handling arrangements or agreements
  • Have standard and predictable attendance on location, including fulfilling any obligatory overtime requirements
  • Answer and assist during security as well as emergency situations
  • Provide interfacing traveler door information
  • Provide quality customer service in a professional manner and according to American's standards
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and performance guidelines
  • Complete task-related stages of training
  • Comply with applicable laws (e.g. DOT, FAA, TSA)
  • Utilize various internal resources/frameworks including during customer interactions
  • Wear uniforms as required by company policy

Depending on your airport size, you may also perform the following:

* Perform Traveler Activity Control capabilities including air to ground communication along with Peak capabilities

  • Help international travelers through customs/migration, including baggage re-check
  • Convey tickets, international flight reports, and customs/migration forms

All you'll need for success

* Minimum Qualifications + Education and Earlier Professional training + Bilingual language abilities expected in certain areas + Relevant valid driver's license as required by local authorities + Must meet FAA criminal history verifications to qualify for unescorted access awards to airport security identification display areas (SIDA), if applicable + Must be able to obtain proper airport power as well as US Customs security identifications, if material + Completion of a pre-employment drug screen, comprehensive background check, or potentially fingerprinting to meet company and security requirements + Must be approved to work in the U.S.

  • Preferred Qualifications

+ Training and Earlier Professional training + Working knowledge of Saber or other Traveler Service Framework + Past face-to-face Customer service experience + Working in a high-speed environment
