Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our Customer Order Management Operations team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying software solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers and associates. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement, drive technical innovation, and ensure the highest levels of quality and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll be responsible for:
Delivery and Execution (50%):
+ Develop, test, deploy, and maintain software solutions that meet the needs of our customers and associates + Take on new opportunities and challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm + Consistently achieve results, even under tough circumstances + Develop test suites (functional, destructive, etc.) to enable success and rapid deployment of code to production + Take a broad view when approaching issues, using a global lens

Plans and Aligns (20%):
+ Collaborate with other team members in agile processes + Create new and better ways for the organization to be successful + Work with the Product Team to ensure user stories are valuable, developer-ready, easy to understand, and testable + Deliver multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences + Adapt approach and demeanor in real-time to match the shifting demands of different situations + Relate openly and comfortably with diverse groups of people
Supports and Enables (10%):
+ Help grow junior engineers by providing guidance on modern software development frameworks and leading technical discussions

Minimum Qualifications
* Must be eighteen years of age or older
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications
* 2-4 years of relevant work experience
- Experience with front-end technology such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks, an object-oriented programming language (preferably Java), relational or NoSQL database technology, cloud computing techniques, CI/CD tools, modern software design patterns
- Strong foundation in Linux/Unix systems administration
- Demonstrated ability to work in an operations-focused role, including handling incident calls and running standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Familiarity with Linux, Tomcat, and GCP environments
- Interest in DevOps principles and operations, with a passion for contributing to both development and operational aspects of the team
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interface effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Experience in effective data modeling with both relational and NoSQL databases
- Experience with security frameworks for user and services authorization and authentication
- Experience with creating and executing unit, functional, destructive, and performance tests
- Experience with modern debugging and root cause analysis techniques
- Experience with version control systems
- Experience in designing systems for high availability, disaster recovery, performance, efficiency, and security
- Exposure to developing technical roadmaps, including work estimation, refactoring, and modernizing legacy systems
