Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our Security and Compliance team, focusing on building and maintaining our data infrastructure. As a key member of this team, you'll work with various data technologies, including Flash, Voila, Flink, Kafka, and others, to design and implement efficient, scalable, and secure data pipelines. You'll also be responsible for writing ETL scripts to collect and aggregate data, and building high-quality data structures that enable us to handle sensitive customer information with care.

Key Responsibilities

* Design and implement efficient, scalable, and secure data pipelines using advanced data technologies (Hive, Voila, Flash, Flink) on medium to large-scale datasets

• Develop a deep understanding of the arenaflex data ecosystem from a privacy-focused perspective
• Collaborate with the Security and Compliance team to identify item objectives and provide data-driven insights that inform our response to client and regulatory information requests
• Maintain and reevaluate existing datasets and pipelines to ensure they meet the highest standards of data protection and compliance
• Join a talented team of data engineers who are passionate about building innovative data solutions that drive business growth and minimize risk

Essential Qualifications

* Strong background in data engineering, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in programming and data design

• Proficiency in at least one of Java, Python, or Scala, with a deep understanding of data processing and manipulation
• Experience with advanced SQL and data modeling techniques
• Familiarity with data pipelines and data warehousing concepts
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure)

• Knowledge of data governance and compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
• Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git)
