Responsibilities

As a Part-time Chat Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Handling a wide variety of customer inquiries via online chat, providing accurate and timely responses to ensure a positive customer experience
  • Providing information about products and services via online chat, ensuring that customers have a clear understanding of our offerings
  • Narrowing down on appointment information to schedule appointments, ensuring that customers have a seamless and efficient experience
  • Developing and maintaining a knowledge base of the ever-evolving products and services, staying up-to-date on the latest developments and trends
  • Capturing customer contact information for lead generation and client review, ensuring that our dealer clients have the information they need to follow up with customers
  • Summarizing interactions based on customer needs for client review, providing valuable insights and feedback to our dealer clients
  • Maintaining a positive and professional demeanor, even in high-pressure situations
  • Providing excellent written and verbal communication skills, ensuring that customers have a clear and concise understanding of our offerings
  • Adapting to change and enjoying a quick-paced work environment, staying flexible and responsive to the needs of our customers and dealer clients

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in retail customer service or the automotive industry, although not necessary
  • The ability to type at least 35 WPM, with 40 and above preferred
  • Basic internet and window-based computer skills, with the ability to navigate multiple systems and applications
  • A strong ability to multitask, with gaming experience a plus
  • A positive and professional demeanor, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to adapt to change and enjoy a quick-paced work environment
  • Gaming experience is preferred, but not required

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Be able to attend 4 weeks of training, Tuesday - Saturday between the hours of 10:00am-6:30pm CST
  • Be able to work 5-hour time blocks daily after completing training
  • Meet the typing requirements of at least 35 WPM, with 40 and above preferred
  • Possess a positive and professional demeanor
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Be able to adapt to change and enjoy a quick-paced work environment
  • Have gaming experience, although not required
