Job Summary
We're looking for a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team and contribute to the development of our content portfolio. As a Data Analyst at arenaflex, you'll have the opportunity to work with large-scale, high-dimensional data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that will inform our business decisions. You'll be working closely with our content team to analyze client behavior, identify new opportunities, and optimize our content release and episode discharge methodology.
Key Responsibilities
* Apply advanced analytical techniques (data mining, data visualization, statistical analysis, AI) to large-scale, high-dimensional data sets to inform business decisions
- Analyze client behavior (e.g., viewing preferences, viewing patterns) to identify neglected client needs and undiscovered content opportunities
- Develop predictive models to forecast content engagement and inform procurement decisions
- Streamline our content release and episode discharge methodology to improve efficiency and effectiveness
- Test and optimize marketing strategies to enhance engagement and retention
- Ideate and develop new metrics and KPIs to measure content performance and inform strategic decisions
- Provide ad-hoc analysis support to partners to drive business growth
- Effectively communicate complex insights and recommendations to stakeholders through compelling data storytelling
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in data analysis, with a strong background in statistical analysis and data visualization
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with R and Python programming languages
- Experience with machine learning and AI methods, including decision trees, regression, clustering, etc.
- Proven ability to work independently and apply creativity to solve complex problems
- Excellent data storytelling skills through verbal, written, and visual communication
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Experience working with large-scale data sets and high-performance computing environments
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and big data technologies
- Strong understanding of media and entertainment industry trends and challenges
