Responsibilities

As a Mechanical Customer Service Expert, you will be responsible for:

  • Handling and carefully responding to all customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Providing excellent customer service through active listening, empathy, and effective communication
  • Working with confidential customer information and treating it sensitively, adhering to arenaflex's strict data protection policies
  • Aiming to resolve issues on the first call by being proactive, resourceful, and solution-focused
  • Appropriately communicating with customers, both verbally and in writing, to ensure clear understanding and satisfaction
  • Calmly attempting to resolve and de-escalate any issues that may arise, using effective conflict resolution techniques
  • Escalating interactions when necessary and appropriate, to ensure that customers receive the highest level of service
  • Tracking all call-related information for auditing and reporting purposes, to ensure compliance with arenaflex's quality standards
  • Providing feedback on call issues, to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous quality enhancement

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • Ability to work remotely in a virtual team environment, with minimal supervision and maximum autonomy
  • 6 months of customer service experience, preferably in a mechanical or technical field
  • Over 18 years of age, with a valid government-issued ID
  • Ability to type 25 words per minute, with high accuracy and speed
  • High School Graduate or GED, with a strong foundation in mathematics and communication
  • Comfort with desktop computer systems, including Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office
  • Proven oral and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas simply and effectively
  • Logical problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop creative solutions
  • Ability to navigate Windows operating systems, with a strong understanding of computer hardware and software
  • Organization and work prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously

Nice-to-Haves

While not essential, the following skills and qualifications would be highly desirable:

  • Experience working in a mechanical or technical field, with a strong understanding of complex systems and equipment
  • Certification in customer service, quality assurance, or a related field
  • Proficiency in multiple languages, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers from diverse backgrounds
  • Experience working in a call center or customer service environment, with a strong understanding of quality standards and metrics
