Traditional Media Buyer and Planner

Our agency client is seeking a Traditional Media Buyer/Planner to join our marketing team for a week long coverage. The ideal candidate will be responsible for strategically planning and executing media buys across various traditional platforms to optimize our reach and impact in the target market.

  • This is a fully remote role, working from April 1st to April 7th.
  • Hours: 20 hours/week but might go upto 40 hours/weelk depending on the project need.
  • *Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive media buying/pnanning strategies across traditional media channels including television, OOH, radio, and print.
  • Analyze market trends and audience insights to inform media planning and buying decisions.
  • Negotiate with media vendors to secure optimal rates and placements for advertising campaigns.
  • Monitor the performance of media buys and optimize campaigns based on key performance indicators.
  • Collaborate with creative teams to align media strategies with advertising messaging and branding objectives.
  • Maintain relationships with media vendors and industry partners to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • *Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in media buying/planning, preferably within a traditional media context.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage vendor relationships effectively.
  • Familiarity with media analysis tools like Strata (Freewheel).
  • Excellent analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
