Job Summary The Elite Job is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Virtual Penetration Tester and Vulnerability Assessment Specialist to join our cybersecurity team. Key Responsibilities

Conduct penetration tests on networks, web applications, APIs, and mobile platforms to identify security weaknesses.

Perform comprehensive vulnerability assessments using both automated tools and manual testing techniques.

Analyze test results, document findings, and provide detailed technical reports with remediation recommendations.

Simulate attack scenarios to evaluate the security posture of systems and applications.

Collaborate with IT, DevOps, and development teams to fix identified vulnerabilities and strengthen system defenses.

Stay updated with emerging threats, new hacking techniques, and the latest cybersecurity tools.

Develop and maintain penetration testing methodologies, scripts, and testing frameworks.

- Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Proven experience with penetration testing tools such as Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nmap, Nessus, Wireshark, and OWASP ZAP.
- *
Strong understanding of network protocols, web applications, operating systems, firewalls, and IDS/IPS systems.
- *
Knowledge of OWASP Top 10, CVE, and vulnerability management frameworks.

Scripting experience in Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automating security tests.
- *
Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
- *
Certifications such as CEH, OSCP, GPEN, or CISSP will be an added advantage.

Minimum 2–5 years of experience in penetration testing, ethical hacking, or vulnerability assessment.

Prior experience in remote or virtual security testing environments is highly preferred.
