The Role
As an experienced Manager State & Higher Education, you'll be part of our Southwest Business Department, where you'll coach and help to professionally develop our Field Government Account Managers and designated portfolio management. Your primary responsibility will be to increase sales, establish formal partnerships, and broaden awareness of arenaflex's corporate travel programs and services to State, Local, and Higher Education managed travel accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coach and develop Field Government Account Managers and designated portfolio management to achieve sales and revenue growth targets
- Establish and maintain formal partnerships with State, Local, and Higher Education managed travel accounts
- Broaden awareness of arenaflex's corporate travel programs and services to target markets
- Identify, hire, onboard, and train a sales organization of trusted Advisors in the managed travel industry
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and revenue growth in target markets
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform business decisions
Essential Qualifications:
* 5+ years of experience in sales, account management, or a related field
- Proven track record of success in driving sales and revenue growth in a managed travel industry
- Strong leadership and coaching skills, with experience in developing and managing high-performing teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze market trends and competitor activity
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience working in the airline or travel industry
- Knowledge of managed travel industry trends and best practices
- Certification in sales, account management, or a related field
- Experience working with CRM software and other sales tools
