Our Hiring Process

Job Details

This position is full-time (40 hours/week), Monday-Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM local time. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime or weekends. We offer 8 weeks of paid training. The hours during training will be 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM EST (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM CST) from Monday - Friday. Training will be conducted virtually from your home. If you are located within the Eastern or Central Time Zone, you will have the flexibility to work remotely as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities

* Call members to schedule in-home visits with a Physician or a Nurse Practitioner

  • Answer inbound calls from members and assist them with their inquiries
  • Ensure that the appointments are scheduled accurately and resolve any scheduling issues or concerns

This is a high-volume, customer service environment. You'll need to be efficient, productive, and thorough dealing with our members over the phone. You also must be able to work a flexible schedule that includes evening hours.

Required Qualifications

* High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • 1 year of work experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook (create/edit/save/send documents, spreadsheets, and correspondence)
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA requirements
  • Ability to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM local time from Monday - Friday. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime or weekends.

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with working in the healthcare industry

  • Experience in working with Medicaid or Medicare
  • Experience with working in a customer retention-focused role

Telecommuting Requirements

* Reside within the Eastern or Central Time Zone

  • Ability to keep all company-sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
  • Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
  • Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group-approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service
  • Ability to connect directly into the internet via hard wire (either directly to modem or router)

Soft Skills

* Ability to type and talk at the same time while navigating through multiple screens

  • Experience with working in a metric-driven work environment
  • Experience with using an auto-dialer system
  • All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to arenaflex's Telecommuter Policy

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly range for this role is $16.00 to $28.85 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. arenaflex complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
