A Day in the Life of a Senior Product Manager – Tech

As a Senior Product Manager, Technical, you will spend your days balancing strategic thinking with hands-on problem-solving. Your typical day will involve:

• Reviewing important initiatives to ensure alignment with customer needs and business objectives within arenaflex's Customer Service division
• Translating intricate business requirements into practical product solutions, often addressing challenging technical problems in the computer vision space
• Articulating complex problems, critical trade-offs, and proposed product solutions related to foundational computer vision, both verbally and in writing
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive the development of innovative data and AI-driven products that improve customer experiences and delight customers

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Product Manager, Technical, you will be responsible for:

• Defining the strategic vision, developing a long-term roadmap, and leading cross-functional teams to execute on that vision
• Diving into technical details and evaluating trade-off decisions (e.g., asking meaningful questions to scientists or engineers)
• Influencing technical priorities and business strategy through data-driven contributions
• Effectively operating with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver measurable improvements to customers' experience
• Communicating technical concepts and trade-offs to both technical and non-technical audiences, building consensus and alignment

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of technical product management experience, with a focus on computer vision and AI-driven products
• Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
• Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
• Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
• Experience managing technical products or online services
• Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

• Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
• Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

Compensation

The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
