Job Summary

As a Data Entry Operator at arenaflex, you'll play a vital role in supporting our Customer Service Division of Business Operations. You'll be responsible for entering information with high speed and accuracy, inputting large amounts of data into our customer information system and other Public Works software. This position requires excellent judgment, independent thinking, and personal initiative, making it an ideal fit for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments.

Key Responsibilities

* Establishes and maintains utility accounts with precision and attention to detail

  • Verifies account eligibility and accessibility to ensure seamless customer experiences
  • Prepares, distributes, and completes work orders with accuracy and efficiency
  • Prepares files for mass customer communications, ensuring timely and effective delivery
  • Assists with mailing billing statements and other notices generated in-house, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Scans or retains documents, adhering to arenaflex's document management policies
  • Performs monthly audits of incomplete account transfer requests to identify areas for improvement
  • Enters data into Key Performance Indicator tracking databases, providing valuable insights for business growth and development
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities

Essential Qualifications

* Education: High School Diploma or an acceptable equivalency diploma (GED)

  • Experience: Two (2) years of experience as a high-volume data entry operator or typist
  • Licenses or Certifications: None specified
  • Special Requirements: Must pass computer skills, typing, and accuracy, and 10-key skills testing for consideration

* Education: Associates degree in business administration, data entry, or related fields

  • Experience: Two (2) years of experience as a high-volume data entry operator or typist
  • Special Requirements: Must pass computer skills, typing, and accuracy, and 10-key skills testing for consideration

* Excellent data entry skills with high speed and accuracy

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in fast-paced environments
  • Proficiency in computer software, including Microsoft Office and Public Works software
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
