As a Retail Department Coordinator - Customer Service at arenaflex, you'll be at the forefront of delivering an exceptional customer experience. You'll be responsible for overseeing a team of Associates at the front of store, ensuring prompt and courteous customer service, and promoting our loyalty programs. You'll lead by example, engaging and interacting with all customers, and maintaining a clean and organized store. Your role models outstanding customer service, and you'll be the face of arenaflex in your community.

Key Responsibilities

As a Retail Department Coordinator - Customer Service, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Creating a positive internal and external customer experience
  • Promoting a culture of honesty and integrity; maintaining confidentiality
  • Taking an active role in training and mentoring Associates on front-end principles
  • Training and coaching Associates on personalizing the customer experience while promoting loyalty programs
  • Assigning registers, supporting and responding to POS coverage needs, and coordinating breaks for all Associates
  • Addressing customer concerns and issues promptly, ensuring a positive customer experience
  • Ensuring Associates execute tasks and activities according to store plan; prioritizing as needed
  • Communicating accurately and effectively with management and Associates when setting and addressing priorities; providing progress updates
  • Providing and accepting recognition and constructive feedback
  • Partners with Management on Associate training needs to increase effectiveness
  • Ensures adherence to all labor laws, policies, and procedures
  • Promotes credit and loyalty programs
  • Supports and participates in store shrink reduction goals and programs
  • Promotes safety awareness and maintains a safe environment
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

* Available to work flexible schedule, including nights and weekends

  • Capable of multi-tasking

  • Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors
  • Able to train others
  • 1 year retail and 6 months of leadership experience

Compensation

This position has a starting pay range of $17.50 to $18.00 per hour. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
