Job Summary
As an Experienced Customer Service Representative – Specialty Mail Order Pharmacy at arenaflex, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and support. You will be responsible for handling phone calls, responding to patient inquiries, and resolving complex issues related to specialty medications. Your expertise will ensure that patients receive timely and accurate information, enabling them to make informed decisions about their healthcare.
Key Responsibilities
* Respond to patient inquiries via phone, email, or chat, providing accurate and empathetic support
- Coordinate and process new and reorder medication requests, including verifying and updating patient information
- Assist patients in deciphering and entering new or reorder medications into the pharmacy data system
- Collect and process copay sums, obtain approvals, and work with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to resolve and process orders with records of sales or clinical issues
- Collaborate with patients, insurance companies, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate handling of specialty medications
- Maintain accurate records and documentation, adhering to regulatory requirements and company policies
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., healthcare, business, or communications)
- One year of experience in a customer service role, handling and resolving high volumes of complex customer needs via phone
- One year of experience working with Windows-based applications, including Windows, Microsoft Office, web navigation, and email applications
- One year of PC keyboarding experience, skills, and proficiency
Preferred Qualifications
* Healthcare work experience and knowledge of benefits, insurance, medications, and clinical terminology
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
