As a Customer Advocate I at arenaflex, you'll play a vital role in assisting members and physicians by responding to telephone and written inquiries in a prompt, accurate, and objective manner. You'll work in a fast-paced call center environment, conducting research, and utilizing your exceptional communication skills to resolve issues and provide solutions. With a strong focus on member satisfaction, you'll be empowered to make a real difference in the lives of our members.

Key Responsibilities:

* Respond to telephone and written inquiries from members and physicians in a prompt, accurate, and objective manner

  • Conduct research to resolve issues and provide solutions
  • Utilize strong communication skills to build rapport with members and physicians
  • Work independently to resolve complex issues and make sound decisions
  • Spend approximately 90% of scheduled time on the phone, with regular breaks to maintain productivity and well-being
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and improve member experiences

Essential Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent (GED)

  • 6 months of customer service experience or 6 months of experience in an office environment
  • Data entry and/or typing experience
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to make independent decisions
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time, with regular breaks to maintain productivity and well-being

Preferred Qualifications:

* 9 months of customer service experience

  • Experience working with various lines of business, including CDHP, Medicare, Wellness, and Disease Management
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
  • Proven ability to learn quickly and adapt to change
  • Referral preference given to applicants able to take and meet testing criteria

  • Proficiency in data entry and typing
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to adapt to change and learn quickly

Compensation and Benefits:

* Competitive salary range: $17.75 - $27.83 (exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location)
