Key Responsibilities

As a Virtual Scheduler/Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Booking Travel Arrangements: Assist customers with booking flights, hotels, car rentals, and other travel-related services, ensuring that their needs are met and their expectations are exceeded.
  • Travel Information and Advice: Provide expert information on travel destinations, visa requirements, travel advisories, and other relevant travel-related topics to help customers make informed decisions.
  • Customer Inquiries and Complaints: Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner, resolving issues and providing solutions that meet their needs.
  • Interdepartmental Coordination: Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth travel experiences for customers, including coordinating with airlines, hotels, and other travel providers.
  • Industry Trends and Updates: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, changes in travel regulations, and new technologies to provide expert advice and guidance to customers.

Qualifications and Skills

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and provide creative solutions.

  • Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Previous Customer Service Experience: Previous customer service experience, preferably in the travel industry.
  • Knowledge of Travel Booking Systems and Software: Knowledge of travel booking systems and software, such as Sabre, Amadeus, or similar systems.

Preferred Qualifications

* Travel Industry Experience: Previous experience in the travel industry, including experience with travel booking systems and software.

  • Language Skills: Proficiency in multiple languages, including English, Spanish, French, or other languages relevant to the travel industry.
  • Certifications and Training: Relevant certifications, such as IATA or ARC, or training in customer service, travel industry, or related fields.
