Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our high-level investigation and content development group. As a Data Analyst, you will apply advanced analytical methods to drive business decisions, identify untapped client needs, and uncover new content opportunities. You will work closely with our content team to develop and implement data-driven strategies that enhance our content portfolio, marketing, and delivery system.
Key Responsibilities
* Apply advanced analytical methods (data mining, data visualization, statistical analysis, AI) on large-scale, high-dimensional data to inform business decisions
- Investigate client behavior (e.g., content preferences, viewing patterns) to identify untapped client needs and uncover new content opportunities
- Develop and implement predictive models to forecast content engagement and inform acquisition decisions
- Collaborate with our content team to develop and refine our content launch and episode release strategies
- Test and optimize marketing strategies to improve engagement and retention
- Develop and implement new metrics and KPIs to measure content performance for both strategic and tactical decision-making
- Provide specialized analytical support to partners to drive business growth
- Effectively communicate key findings through compelling data storytelling across the organization
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in data analysis, with a strong background in statistical analysis and AI procedures
- Proficiency in SQL and experience in R or Python
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and apply creativity to tackle complex problems
- Excellent data storytelling skills through verbal, written, and visual communication
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or a related field
- Experience working in the entertainment and media industry
- Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and deep learning techniques
- Strong knowledge of data visualization tools and techniques
- Experience with data warehousing and business intelligence tools
