Job Summary
As a Quality Control Standards Data Analyst, you will assist in using data to create, present, and make recommendations for innovative ideas and projects, as well as perform basic analysis to alleviate the risk of resistance through process improvements. These improvements will support arenaflex objectives, including keeping costs low, modernizing the operation, and improving compliance, thus giving arenaflex a competitive advantage.
Responsibilities and Expectations
The responsibilities and expectations of the Quality Control Standards Data Analyst may include, but are not limited to:
- Perform and assist others in the Quality Control group in optimal data collection, validation, and root cause analysis on data components.
- Assist in creating and presenting results from complex data and analysis for both technical and non-technical Clients and Leaders.
- Assist in exploring ad-hoc requests resulting from emerging maintenance issues and provide logical answers to enable Senior Leaders to make business decisions while adjusting existing project responsibilities.
- Present findings, trends, and potential recommendations by using data visualization tools supporting the relevant marks of the investigation to ease partner understanding.
- Assist in creating and distributing specific queries to pull and coordinate data from various sources, establishing the rhythm, and approving the need of the data requirements.
- Identify irregularities in processes through reviews/audits and convey findings to the Group.
- Assess the effectiveness of processes and methods by observing for patterns and errors
- Ensure that a compliance mindset is at the forefront of every decision
- May perform other work responsibilities as directed by Group Leader.
Information, Skills, Work Style, and Abilities
* Involved ability to collect, organize, analyze large amounts of data with care and accuracy.
- Ability to effectively listen, understand, and communicate ideas and present them in writing, verbally, or presentations delivered to discussions of varying audiences.
- Ability to evaluate business issues, identify valuable opportunities for data needs, and interpret resulting metrics.
- Should have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of data visualization tools and capabilities, such as Tableau, Alteryx, and QuickBase, is preferred.
- Ability to grasp the issue, summarize, and perform root cause analysis on data, and provide recommendations using logic and reasoning.
- Ability to use PowerPoint to build presentations for verbal communications is preferred
- Past internship, capstone projects, and research coursework is preferred
- Ability to work independently in a team-oriented help/group-based environment
- Ability to focus on responsibilities independently and be a self-motivated individual.
- Past internship experience in a related field is preferred
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential data appropriately.
- Ability to plan and support large business initiatives
