Responsibilities
As a Mechanical Customer Service Expert at arenaflex, your key responsibilities will include:
- Handling and carefully responding to all customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Providing excellent customer service through active listening, empathy, and a customer-centric approach
- Working with confidential customer information and treating it sensitively, adhering to all relevant data protection policies and procedures
- Aiming to resolve issues on the first call by being proactive and taking ownership of customer concerns
- Appropriately communicating with customers, both verbally and in writing, to ensure clear understanding and resolution of issues
- Calmly attempting to resolve and de-escalate any issues that may arise, using effective conflict resolution skills and techniques
- Escalating interactions when necessary and appropriate, to ensure that customer concerns are addressed and resolved
- Tracking all call-related information for auditing and reporting purposes, using our proprietary systems and tools
- Providing feedback on call issues and opportunities for improvement, to help drive continuous quality and service excellence
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- Ability to work remotely in a virtual team environment, with a strong focus on self-motivation, discipline, and time management
- 6 months of customer service experience, preferably in a similar industry or role
- Over 18 years of age, with a valid government-issued ID
- Ability to type 25 words per minute, with accuracy and speed
- High School Graduate or GED, with a strong focus on communication, problem-solving, and teamwork
- Comfort with desktop computer systems, including Windows operating systems and our proprietary software
- Proven oral and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner
- Logical problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze situations, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions
- Ability to navigate Windows operating systems, with a strong focus on technical proficiency and troubleshooting
Nice-to-Haves
While not essential, the following skills and qualifications would be highly desirable in this role:
- Experience working in a similar industry or role, with a strong focus on customer service and technical support
- Familiarity with our proprietary systems and tools, including our customer relationship management (CRM) software
