Job Summary
We're seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant/Data Entry Clerk to provide exceptional front-of-house support and administrative services to our team. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you'll be responsible for providing a warm and welcoming experience for our clients, while also ensuring the smooth operation of our administrative functions.
Key Responsibilities
As an Administrative Assistant/Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you'll have the opportunity to work on a variety of tasks, including:
- Answering telephone calls and taking messages in a professional and courteous manner
- Greeting clients and visitors, providing a warm and welcoming experience
- Capturing and entering data into our database with accuracy and attention to detail
- Maintaining and updating our database to ensure up-to-date information
- Filing and organizing documents in a secure and efficient manner
- Responding to queries from the public in a timely and professional manner
- Mailing and shipping packages and documents
- Performing other administrative and clerical duties as required
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following essential qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset
- 1-2 years of experience in an administrative or clerical role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Experience with database management and data entry an asset
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications would be an asset in this role:
- Post-secondary education in a related field, such as business administration or office administration
- Experience working in a front-of-house or customer service role
- Proficiency in other software applications, such as Google Suite or Adobe Creative Cloud
