Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Live Chat Customer Support Representative to join our remote team, providing timely and efficient customer service through online chat on our website and social media channels. Key Responsibilities

As a Live Chat Customer Support Representative, your duties will include:

  • Responding to live chat messages from customers on our website and social media channels in a timely and efficient manner
  • Answering customer inquiries, offering promotional discounts, and providing helpful resources and information
  • Providing exceptional customer service, resolving issues, and escalating complex problems to senior support staff when necessary
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and effective issue resolution
  • Staying up-to-date with product knowledge, industry trends, and best practices to deliver informed and accurate support
  • Meeting or exceeding performance metrics, including response times, resolution rates, and customer satisfaction scores
  • Participating in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge

Contract and Compensation

* Contract length: No fixed term, with opportunities for long-term growth and development

  • Hourly rate: $25-$35 per hour, depending on experience and performance
  • Hours per week: 5-40 hours per week, with flexibility to accommodate varying schedules and needs

Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A device able to access social media and website chat functions (Phone/Tablet/Laptop)
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
  • Close attention to detail and ability to follow provided steps and instructions
  • 5+ hours availability per week, with flexibility to accommodate varying schedules and needs
  • Reliable internet connection
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on customer service
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a high level of adaptability and flexibility
