Experienced Customer Service Representative – Air Travel and Logistics Support

Job Summary:

We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team at arenaflex. As a key member of our customer-facing team, you'll be responsible for providing top-notch service to customers seeking to travel, use baggage or cargo services, and resolving any issues that may arise. Key Responsibilities:

* Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers, ensuring a positive and memorable experience with arenaflex

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives, promoting a culture of teamwork and mutual respect
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Process transactions, including handling cash, checks, credit cards, travel vouchers, and coupons, and balancing daily transactions
  • Inspect and handle baggage and cargo, ensuring accurate and efficient processing
  • Answer phone calls to provide information, page customers, resolve issues, and assist with ad-hoc requests
  • Manage oversold, delayed, or cancelled flights, resolving issues quickly and in accordance with arenaflex policies
  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information on flight schedules, reservations, and baggage handling, and respond to general inquiries from customers and airport guests
  • Complete forms and reports as required by arenaflex, and write incident and complaint reports as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors, including meeting physical demands and working in a fast-paced environment

Essential Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management
  • Ability to type or use a computer keyboard with sufficient speed to meet the demands of the role
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions, learn and comprehend tagging techniques, rules, and regulations
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, meet public expectations, and work under stressful circumstances
  • Ability to complete the Customer Service Representative training program with an 80% or higher average and pass the assessment period
  • Familiarity with hazardous situations and ability to handle crises on a case-by-case basis
  • Ability to work under tight time constraints to achieve rapid turnaround of aircraft
  • Ability to maintain a well-groomed appearance, adhering to the Ground Services Worker Handbook and Work Schedule
  • Ability to perform all job duties within a confined space
  • Ability to communicate verbally by phone, in person, and on public address systems effectively
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to communicate information and directions verbally or through radio equipment

Preferred Qualifications:

* Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or a related field

  • Knowledge of air travel regulations and procedures
  • Familiarity with electronic ticketing systems and baggage handling processes
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills
