As a Billing Data Entry Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting our internal and external customers by ensuring timely resolution of benefits questions, maintaining accurate data entry, and providing essential reporting to help achieve arenaflex's revenue goals.

Job Overview
- Completing all necessary encounters for various practices, ensuring accurate data entry in the appropriate Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
- Managing the referral process for optometrists by entering referrals from the EHR into Salesforce.
- Performing benefits verification prior to sending information to the Enrollment Manager.
- Addressing tickets related to Out-of-Pocket (OOP) costs as generated by the Customer Care (CC) team.
- Responding to eligibility-related questions from the Enrollment Team as needed, utilizing EHR data.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 1 year of administrative, data entry, or equivalent experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Suite, with experience in Excel or Google Sheets.
- Typing speed of 30-40 words per minute.
- Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR), preferably NexTech or Athena.
- Experience with clinical data entry. (Preferred)
- Familiarity with Salesforce. (Preferred)
- Knowledge of full cycle billing or coding processes. (Preferred)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a healthcare or medical billing environment.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and guidelines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Work Environment
