Responsibilities

As an Experienced Lockbox Processor (Government) - Scanning and Data Entry Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Extracting remittances based on standard operating procedures
• Processing and/or reconciling transactions in accordance with established policies and procedures
• Ensuring the appropriate materials, documentation, and capacity are available to complete transactions
• Confirming equipment is operational, if applicable
• Providing feedback on workflow and work received
• Reviewing transactions and related documents and verifying work processes to ensure completeness, accuracy, and conformance to established service levels and applicable policies and procedures

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

• No degree required; high school diploma or GED preferred
• Ability to perform repetitive functions and meet deadlines
• Detail-oriented with strong accuracy and attention to detail skills
• Basic ten key skills and some machine operation may be required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and maintain high productivity and quality levels
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines

Nice-to-Haves

While not required, the following qualifications and skills would be an asset in this role:

• Previous experience in a lockbox or data entry environment
• Knowledge of government regulations and compliance requirements
• Familiarity with scanning and data entry software and systems
• Ability to learn and adapt to new software and systems quickly
• Strong organizational and time management skills
