Position Overview

We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Account Representative to support our clients throughout the occupational medicine management process. As a key member of our Remote Customer Service team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring seamless communication and exceptional customer service. If you have a background in customer service or patient care, excellent communication skills, and a strong work ethic, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

As an Account Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Serving as the primary point of contact for clients and clinics to secure medical surveillance records
  • Maintaining effective communication and providing high-quality customer service to clients and clinic staff
  • Managing the submission of medical and substance abuse testing records, ensuring smooth inbound and outbound communication
  • Monitoring laboratory results and collaborating with vendors to resolve discrepancies
  • Ensuring timely submission of x-rays, addressing any issues with vendors as needed
  • Issuing employee letters following client protocols, paying close attention to service dates and logging
  • Keeping track of employee DOT documents and cards, ensuring all expiration dates are up to date
  • Scheduling employee physicals and coordinating onsite medical surveillance services as necessary
  • Providing training to new clients on occupational medicine and substance abuse testing processes
  • Reviewing and verifying invoices to ensure accuracy
  • Fostering positive relationships with clinics, vendors, and other key stakeholders, including ordering supplies when required

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A High School Diploma or GED; a Bachelor's degree is preferred
  • 1-3 years of experience in customer service or patient care, handling health information and administrative tasks
  • Strong proficiency in English and MS Office; intermediate to advanced Excel skills are a plus
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
