Part-Time Remote Attorney - Physician Contracts

Company Contract Rx is a boutique law firm dedicated exclusively to reviewing and negotiating physician contracts. Role Description We are seeking a highly skilled, articulate, and client-focused attorney to join our team on a flexible part-time basis. This role involves providing legal advice and guidance to physicians, conducting thorough legal reviews of employment agreements, and assisting in negotiations to secure favorable contract and compensation terms. This role also offers the opportunity to work remotely while providing meaningful guidance to physicians navigating complex employment and partnership agreements.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze physician employment and partnership agreements, including compensation structures, restrictive covenants, and key contractual terms
• Advise physicians on contract terms, risks, and negotiation strategies
• Communicate complex legal concepts clearly and effectively to physician clients
• Utilize firm systems and processes to deliver efficient, high-quality reviews
• Collaborate with internal team members to support client experience and continuous improvement

Qualifications and Experience

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and an active bar license
• Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in healthcare law or employment law
• Significant experience reviewing and negotiating physician employment agreements (experience from both employer and physician perspectives is highly valued)
• Background in healthcare law, including experience with hospitals, health systems, private equity-backed groups, or large medical organizations
• Strong understanding of physician compensation models and specialty-specific considerations
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with physician clients

• Ability to manage a flexible workload (approximately 15–30 hours per week)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Willingness to learn and adopt firm-specific systems and processes

Compensation and Structure

• Independent contractor (1099) position
• Compensation provided on a per-review basis
