Retail Field Communications Writer/ Editor We are seeking an experienced communications professional to support internal messaging for retail and customer care teams for our tech client. This person will create and refine clear, timely communications that help field employees understand priorities, respond to changing business needs, and stay aligned with company standards.
- Rate: $52-72/hr
- Duration: 12+ months
- Type: W2 contract + benefits
- Must reside within 100 miles of Cupertino or Culver City for consideration**
The ideal candidate has at least 4 years of experience in communications or editorial work, preferably in internal or field communications within a large, fast-moving organization. They should be highly skilled in writing and editing across formats such as weekly updates, urgent notices, emails, and leadership messaging. This role requires strong collaboration with cross-functional partners, excellent judgment, and the ability to manage multiple projects with minimal oversight. Candidates should be comfortable working in ambiguity, balancing strategic storytelling with concise operational communication, and handling sensitive or time-critical updates when needed. Strong project management, attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to work calmly under pressure are essential. Experience supporting retail audiences and responding to urgent issues outside standard business hours is strongly preferred. Core Requirements
