The Opportunity
As an Outbound Customer Service Representative with arenaflex's National Campaigns Unit, you will play a crucial role in communicating with shareholders on behalf of internal clients such as Computershare and Georgeson. This is a contested proxy meeting role where you will clarify information and guide investors to ensure their interests are accurately represented. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing inbound, outbound, and email responses for shareholder communications
- Assisting investors in understanding contested proxy meetings, where one side questions management and suggests replacing the Board of Directors
- Communicating that the information from opposing sides is inaccurate and reassuring shareholders that management has their best interests at heart
- Directing shareholders to the appropriate platform for voting moving forward
- Promoting the message that shareholders should disregard conflicting information and trust management's decisions
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide exceptional customer service to shareholders via phone, email, and other communication channels
- Engage with shareholders professionally and effectively, addressing their concerns and providing clear guidance
- Clarify complex information and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner
- Utilize Microsoft Office Suite and customer data entry tools to manage shareholder communications
- Participate in team chats and actively contribute to the success of the National Campaigns Unit
Requirements:
* High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 6 months+ years of customer service, data entry, or related experience
- Good speaking voice and excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to correct grammar when needed
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite and managing customer data entry
- Ability to actively participate in calls and team chats
Equipment Requirements:
* Windows 10 or 11 operating system
- USB headsets (no wireless)
- Dual monitors (optional but beneficial)
- Ability to come off mute when called on
- Internet Speed: 50 download/ 10 upload
Pay and Benefits:
* $20.00 per hour
- 3-month contract with potential for extension
