Shift:
Office hours are between 7 AM - 7 PM CST, specific shifts within business hours will be discussed during the hiring process.
Onsite Requirement:
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday are in-office workdays. Mondays and Fridays are eligible to work remotely from home. Associates are required to live within a 50-mile radius and a 1-hour commute to our arenaflex major office location. arenaflex supports a hybrid workplace model with PulsePoint sites used for collaboration, community, and connection.
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Data Entry Clerk for Electronic Health Records to join our team at arenaflex. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing routine but varied clerical duties in accordance with standard procedures. How You Will Make an Impact:
As a Data Entry Clerk for Electronic Health Records, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our organization by:
- Receiving, classifying, reconciling, consolidating, and summarizing documents and information

Processing and coding documents
*
Making and receiving phone calls to exchange information to accomplish tasks
*
Setting up and maintaining records, logs, and files
*
Compiling regular and special reports using established formats and procedures
*
Contacting customers, suppliers, or company associates to exchange information
* Operating, cleaning, and maintaining various types of equipment for purposes of filming claims, correspondence, and other related documents *
Receiving, sorting, and distributing incoming mail
*
Developing and making copies of original film
*
Verifying unrecognized characters and flags quality issues as they arise
*
Completing and maintaining production logs
Minimum Requirements:
*
High School diploma or GED
* Minimum of 2 years of related work experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background *
Experience in PC and PC office software is required
Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:
*
Knowledge of medical terminology and plan-specific guidelines is preferred
*
ICD-9 and CPT coding experience preferred
*
Experience in managing Electronic Health Records (EHR) for completeness and compliance
*
Specialty infusion experience or exposure preferred
*
Microsoft Office Suite software proficiency: Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
