Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative – Virtual Assistant to join our team on a contract-to-hire basis. As a key member of our guest relations and operations team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional support to our guests, vendors, and internal stakeholders. With a strong focus on multitasking, communication, and problem-solving, you'll be the face of arenaflex, ensuring that our guests receive the highest level of service and support.

Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative – Virtual Assistant, you'll be responsible for:

Guest Relations

+ Providing comprehensive guest messaging using AI-powered tools, such as ChatGPT + Leveraging Guesty and/or HostAI to manage guest communications and resolve issues + Screening potential guests and providing support for guests and vendors + Responding to guest inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner + Achieving 5-star ratings and Superhost Status through exceptional service and support + Writing and responding to guest reviews on Airbnb, VRBO, and other platforms

Company Tasks

+ Reporting maintenance and damage issues to Operations via Operto Teams + Submitting damage claims to Guesty Shield for reimbursement + Building, managing, and reporting in-house maintenance labor + Working knowledge of business financials/accounting to assist with the onboard of accounting systems + Experience in 3rd party vendor relations for tertiary market management

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Language Skills: Fluency in English, with perfect grammar and communication skills
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using AI-powered tools, such as ChatGPT, and experience with Guesty and/or HostAI
  • Time Zone Availability: Availability and reliability in CST and Eastern United States time zones
  • Availability: Part-time, temporary position starting Mid-October for 3 months, with the possibility of moving to a more permanent schedule starting in January 2025
  • Shift Availability: Thursday & Friday 3pm-11p CST, with the possibility of additional overnight shifts from 11p-7am CST

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset:

  • Experience: Previous experience in customer service, guest relations, or a related field
  • Skills: Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications, such as Airbnb Superhost or VRBO Verified
