Job Summary
As a Bilingual French/English Customer Care Representative, you will be responsible for providing high-quality customer service to our clients in both French and English. You will respond to telephone inquiries, requests, and problems, researching and analyzing solutions to meet the customer's needs. This is a remote opportunity, and you will work from the comfort of your own home, interacting with clients and colleagues through various digital channels.
Key Responsibilities
* Respond to telephone inquiries, requests, and problems from clients in both French and English
- Research and analyze solutions to meet the customer's needs, resolving issues on first contact whenever possible
- Provide customers with account information, resolve billing disputes, and correct payment errors
- Revise fee and finance charges as appropriate, and perform account maintenance tasks
- Take card, check, or other orders, and act on lost or stolen cards/checks
- Research customer problems that could not be resolved during the initial contact, and escalate issues as necessary
- Collaborate with colleagues to resolve complex issues and provide exceptional customer experiences
Essential Qualifications
* Bilingual French/English language proficiency, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
- 1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a call center or customer-facing role
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills, with the ability to handle difficult customer calls
- Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages, including Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to identify and resolve/escalate problems, and provide exceptional customer experiences
Preferred Skills/Experience
* Good knowledge of concepts, practices, policies, and procedures of banking products and services
- Effective telephone and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to maximize the number of clients that can be assisted while maintaining a high level of customer service
- Experience working in a remote or virtual environment, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as needed

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits
* Competitive salary range: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
