Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team in Washington State. As a remote worker, you'll have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home while making a real impact on the lives of healthcare providers and their patients. In this role, you'll be responsible for answering incoming phone calls, resolving issues, and providing exceptional customer service.

Primary Responsibilities

* Answer incoming phone calls from healthcare providers and identify the type of assistance they need

  • Focus on resolving issues on the first call, navigating through complex computer systems to identify the status of the issue and provide an appropriate response to the caller
  • Deliver information and answer questions in a positive manner to facilitate strong relationships with providers and their staff
  • Complete the documentation necessary to track provider issues and facilitate the reporting of overall trends

Key Skills and Qualifications

* High School Diploma / GED or equivalent work experience

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Familiarity with computer and Windows PC applications, including the ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications
  • Demonstrated ability to listen skillfully, collect relevant information, build rapport, and respond to customers in a compassionate manner
  • Skilled in problem-solving to quickly assess the current state and formulate recommendations
  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday, with flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm

Preferred Qualifications

* 1 year of experience in a related environment (i.e. office, administrative, clerical, customer service, etc.) using phones and computers as the primary job tools

  • Prior healthcare experience

Telecommuting Requirements

* Reside within Washington State

  • Ability to keep all company-sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
  • Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
  • Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service
  • All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to arenaflex's Telecommuter Policy

Compensation and Benefits

* Hourly range: $16.00 to $28.85 per hour based on full-time employment
