Responsibilities

As a Mechanical Customer Service Expert at arenaflex, your responsibilities will include:

  • Handling and carefully responding to all customer inquiries with care and attention to detail
  • Providing excellent customer service through active listening and empathy
  • Working with confidential customer information and treating it sensitively, adhering to our strict data protection policies
  • Aiming to resolve issues on the first call by being proactive and resourceful
  • Appropriately communicating with customers to ensure their needs are met and exceeded
  • Calmly attempting to resolve and de-escalate any issues that may arise, using your logical problem-solving skills to find creative solutions
  • Escalating interactions when necessary and appropriate, ensuring that our customers receive the support they need
  • Tracking all call-related information for auditing and reporting purposes, using our advanced systems to optimize our performance
  • Providing feedback on call issues to help us improve our services and support

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Ability to work remotely in a virtual team environment, using our cutting-edge technology to stay connected with your colleagues and customers
  • 6 months of customer service experience, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional results
  • Be at least 18 years of age, with a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to type 25 words per minute, with accuracy and speed
  • High school graduate or GED, with a strong foundation in communication and problem-solving
  • Comfort with desktop computer systems, including Windows operating systems and our proprietary software
  • Proven oral and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas simply and clearly
  • Logical problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
  • Ability to navigate Windows operating systems, with a strong understanding of computer hardware and software

Nice-to-Haves

While not essential, the following skills and qualifications would be a bonus:

  • Experience working in a call center or customer-facing environment
  • Familiarity with CRM software and other customer relationship management tools
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems and components, with a strong understanding of customer needs and expectations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders
